Our founder
Sampoorna Group was founded by our visionary, the late Shri Ashish Gupta.
The group he built now runs every link of the poultry chain, from feed mill to export.

Sampoorna Group was founded by our visionary, the late Shri Ashish Gupta. Its feed business, Sampoorna Feeds Pvt Ltd, is the parent company of Star Foods today.

A feed network across seven states
Sampoorna Feeds operates one of the largest and most advanced feed mill networks in India, with plants in Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, U.P., West Bengal, Assam and Maharashtra.

Our own chicks, from our own parents
A breeder farm in Punjab and a hatchery with Petersime incubators and in-ovo vaccination give the group a steady supply of healthy chicks, plus technical support for the farmers who raise them.

A processing plant built to world standards
Star Foods closes the loop: a fully automated Marel line from the Netherlands, GEA Grasso refrigeration, deboning, cutting and cold stores, and an on-site rendering plant.
